ARMANDO

One of my favourite acid tunes.

This was released on the Acid House compilation on Jacks Trax which was a UK press of some of the sounds coming out of Chigago at the time. The Chicago sound was much more techy and gritty than the UK stuff - they really liked to strip it bare, sometimes with just a beat and a 303 undulating over the top like some sort of monsterous squelchy acid octopus.

 Its not often you hear machine music sound so organic, futuristic, dated and alien all at the same time.
